Saw the King's Speech at the regular theater on Sunday, 26 December 2010. Probably the best film this year. Should win the Oscar Best Pic, but will probably not.

True Grit

Saw True Grit at the regular theater on Saturday, 25 December 2010, at 430pm. Good, but not great. Hailee Steinfeld was the standout.

the Fighter

Saw the Fighter at the regular theater on Thursday, 23 December 2010, at 650pm. Excellent performances from Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, Melissa Leo and Amy Adams. Hopefully they all get acting Oscar nominations.

Winter's Bone

Saw Winter's Bone on DVD via Netflix Friday, 3 December 2010. Jennifer Lawrence definitely deserves an Oscar Best Actress nomination. Highly recommended.

127 Hours

Saw 127 Hours at the regular theater on Monday, 29 November 2010, at 715pm. Very good film. Will stick with you after you've left the theater. Excellent direction, editing, screenplay, acting. Will probably win some awards at the Oscars.
