12 Years A Slave

Saw 12 Years A Slave at the regular theater on Sunday, 17 November 2013, at 145pm. This has replaced Million Dollar Baby as my favorite movie of all time. This should win the Oscar Best Pic next year. Highly recommended.

Thor 2: the Dark World

Saw Thor 2: The Dark World at the regular theater on Sunday, 10 November 2013. Good movie, but not great. Looking forward to the Guardians of the Galaxy film and Captain America: the Winter Soldier.

Despicable Me 2

Saw Despicable Me 2 at the bargain theater on Sunday, 27 October 2013, at 230pm. Very good movie, but I thought the first one was better. Still recommended.

Gravity

Saw Gravity at the regular theater on Thursday, 10/3/2013 at 10pm. Not as good as what the reviews have all said. Underwhelming. All of the good parts were already in the trailer. Not recommended actually.

Blue Jasmine

Saw Blue Jasmine at the regular theater on Wednesday, 18 September 2013. Excellent movie. One of the best that Woody Allen has made over the last few years. Cate Blanchett was amazing!

Elysium

Saw Elysium at the regular theater on Saturday, 10 August 2013, at 125pm. Good, not great. District 9 was definitely better.

World War Z

Saw World War Z at the regular theater on Friday, 21 June 2013, at 655pm. Good, not great. But better than Man of Steel. Would not recommend.

Man of Steel

Saw Man of Steel at the regular theater on Friday, 14 June 2013, at 7pm. It wasn't that good. Save your money and watch FF6 instead.

Flight

Saw Flight on Blu-Ray DVD via Netflix on Sunday, 2 June 2013. Great movie and great performances from all of the actors. Recommended.

Fast and Furious 6

Saw Fast and Furious 6 at the regular theater on Thursday, 30 May 2013, at 6pm. Best action movie since Live Free or Die Hard. Highly recommended.

Star Trek

Saw Star Trek at a regular theater on Monday, 20 May 2013. Great movie, but not as good as the 2009 Star Trek film. Still recommended.

Iron Man 3

Saw Iron Man 3 at the regular theater on Sunday, 5 May 2013, at 655pm. Loved this movie - better than the second installment. Highly recommended.

Warm Bodies

Amour

Saw Amour at the regular theater on Saturday, 9 February 2012. One of the best, if not the best, movie I've seen this year. The lead actors were exceptional. Worthy of winning the Palme D'or and being nominated for Oscar Best Picture and Best Director.

Silver Linings Playbook

Saw Silver Linings Playbook at the regular theater on Sunday, 3 February 2013, at 145pm. This is what I call a Perfect Film. Direction, acting, editing, camera work, screenplay were all flawless. Not a wasted scene. Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert de Niro, and Jacki Weaver gave the best performances of their lives. So highly recommended. Deserved to be nominated for Oscar Best Pic.

Zero Dark Thirty

Saw Zero Dark Thirty at the regular theater on Sunday, 20 January 2013, at 220pm. Excellent movie. Want this to win the Oscar Best Pic, but I think Lincoln will win. Too bad. Strongly recommended.
