Saw the Illusionist on DVD via Netflix Thursday, 19 May 2011. Heart-warming story with a bittersweet ending. Strongly recommended.

the Karate Kid

Saw the Karate Kid on DVD via Netflix Thursday, 12 May 2011. Not as good as the original, but good nonetheless. Recommended.

Thor

Saw a Digital 3-D presentation of Thor at the regular theater on Tuesday, 10 May 2011, at 715pm. Very good superhero flick. One of the best I've seen this year. Strongly recommended. Looking forward to the sequel and to the Avengers.

Rabbit Hole

Saw Rabbit Hole on DVD via Netflix on Thursday, 5 May 2011. Recommended. Nicole Kidman deserved her nomination for the Best Actress Oscar.

Fast Five

Saw Fast Five at the regular theater on Tuesday, 3 May 2011 at 715pm. Not as good as everyone is hyping it to be. The first installment of the series was better. Not enough car chase scenes. I enjoyed Live Free or Die Hard more.
